The Brief: Bring a Tired Driveway Back to Life
The customer’s driveway was old, worn and letting the property down. They wanted a complete revamp that would give the home a fresh, modern look and add real kerb appeal.
Our Solution: A Durable Resin Driveway Built From the Ground Up
We visited the property and gave a quote of £7,000 for the full project. Once the customer gave us the go-ahead, we dug up the old driveway completely so we could start from a solid foundation. We then laid a layer of Type 3 hardcore and compacted it to form a strong, stable sub-base. On top of this we laid a permeable concrete base, which lets rainwater drain through instead of pooling on the surface. To finish, we applied a topping layer of resin 18–20mm thick, giving a smooth, attractive driveway built to last.
